FOLLOW RECYCLED VANS PROJECT

What is the Recycled Vans Project?

Our mission is to promote a circular economy by collecting, processing, upcycling, downcycling and donating used shoes. We aim to reduce the amount of waste generated by the footwear industry and create a more sustainable future for our planet. Our commitment to sustainability is driven by the belief that every individual and every company has a responsibility to reduce their impact on the environment. By recycling Vans, we hope to inspire others to join us in creating a more sustainable world.

What is our Vision?

To create a more sustainable future by revolutionizing the way we consume and dispose of footwear, one pair of Van shoes at a time.

What is Upcycling?

Upcycling the process of taking old or discarded items and transforming them into something new and useful. Unlike traditional recycling, where materials are broken down and turned into raw materials to be used again, upcycling involves creatively reusing the original item in a way that preserves or enhances its original qualities.

What is Downcycling?

Downcycling is the process of converting a material into a lower-value product or material, typically due to the deterioration of the material's quality or properties.

Where does RVP donate shoes?

We focus our efforts on supporting charities that provide essential services to underserved youth, such as education, healthcare, and nutrition. By partnering with these organizations, we hope to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children who face significant challenges in accessing basic necessities.
